ON a sweltering day Rhuthun 2nds played an entertaining game agisnt Caldy 3rds amongst the dandelions on pitch 3.  Play started with 12 aside as some Caldy players had trouble crossing the border.  Rhuthun started strongly and were 17-0 up after 10 minutes with 2 tries from Jack Coooledge and 1 from Iestyn Davies.  Once the teams were up to full strength Caldy bagged a couple of tries and the Blues got 1 more from Kyle Davies and the score at half time was 24-12 to Rhuthun.  The 2nd half continues in the same vein with Rhuthun scoring 3 more tries and Caldy 2.  Rhuthun won 43-26 in a good community game to end the season.  Big thank you to Caldy for making the journey to Rhuthun.
